DIRECTDEALS SHIPPING AND RETURN POLICY
DirectDeals offers Next Business Day, Second Day and Ground Shipping. Actual shipping costs will be determined by the method selected along with the weight of the product(s) and distance from shipping warehouse to destination. We maintain tracking numbers for all shipments. Once an item has shipped, the tracking number will automatically be emailed to the shipping recipient. You may use the tracking number to track the progress of the shipment on the shipper’s website. A signature will be required for all deliveries. DirectDeals has no control over products in the shipping channel so we ask that our customers be patient and if you have not received your product within 3 - 5 days of order, please email us and we will contact the shipping handler for you.
ELECTRONIC DELIVERY PRODUCTS
If your product(s) states it is delivered by an electronic delivery method or download, you will receive the required product or license key in the email you specified on your order with us. Please ensure that the email address on your account is accurate. To minimize loss due to fraud, DirectDeals reserves the right to require any customer to provide a verified email address prior to delivery of electronic goods. Non-verified email addresses may cause a delay in processing and delivery of your order.
Software licenses are issued directly by the manufacturer and require specialized handling when purchasing and shipping. Upon ordering, special attention and care must be given to reflect the correct licensee information provided in the “SHIP TO” field on the checkout page. This is the information that will be given to the manufacturer and the information provided in this field will be used to issue the license. Lack of attention in this area could cause the license to be issued in the wrong name and cancellation/correction fee may be accessed if correction is needed. Software licenses are emailed directly from the manufacturer to the licensee. Please ensure that the email address on your account is accurate.
All products must be returned with reasonable care having been taken (such as must not show wear or damage and must be in a condition that permits us to resell them). All returns and exchanges must be accompanied by the original documentation, instruction manuals, registration, parts and components (including cables, controllers, and accessories) and the original manufacturer packaging. If you are returning software, you must also include all media and product keys. Failure to include such items may prevent or delay your refund or exchange. DirectDeals reserves the right to deny any return if it fails to meet the return criteria and conditions.
All product returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. You may obtain an RMA number by contacting DirectDeals Customer Service. All returns or exchanges must be made within 30 days of your purchase date.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. Instead, contact us and we will provide return shipping instructions. For physical products to be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. If you receive the wrong item from DirectDeals.com, we will pay for the cost to return the product and have a replacement sent to you. For any item where you received the correct item, the shipping expense of the return is your responsibility and there will be a restocking fee of 10% of the purchase price.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
Refunds (if applicable): Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within approximately two business days. Credit will only be provided for the cost of the item. Any original shipping charges are not refundable. Defective Items (if applicable): We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will provide return instructions.
Products that are received by DirectDeals in any of the following conditions are not eligible for return and may be rejected:
- •Any product that is not purchased from DirectDeals.
- •Any item with obvious signs of use.
- •Any product that does not exhibit the described reason for the return.
- •Any product with missing, damaged, altered, or otherwise unreadable serial number label, manufacturer model or part number label, and/or warranty label.
- •Any product that is returned without all original packaging and accessories, including the retail box, manuals, cables, and all other items originally included with the product.
- •Refund returns received in this condition may incur a restocking fee or be rejected.
- •Any product from which the UPC code has been removed from its packaging.
- •Any product that exhibits physical damage.
- •Any product for which you have submitted a mail-in rebate.
- •Any product which appears tampered, customized or altered in any way.
- •Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
- •Special order products are not eligible for return
Desktop PC, Notebooks, or Tablet PCs: A defective Desktop PC, Notebook, or Tablet PC that is returned for a replacement may be repaired or replaced at DirectDeals sole discretion unless otherwise required by law. While we strive to adhere to our own standard RMA processing times, we cannot guarantee that these times will be met, especially in situations where the item must be sent to the manufacturer for repair. If you have a question regarding returning a Desktop PC, Notebook, or Tablet PC, please contact our Customer Service Department. Some computer systems will require pre-authorization from the manufacturer technical support in order for an RMA to DirectDeals to be authorized. For computers that have had an additional operating system(s) installed, we will provide you a replacement or refund as noted in the above policy as long as the original operating system is not corrupted or removed.
Televisions: For televisions with a screen size greater than 37 inches: An adult (age 18 or older) is required to sign the shipping courier's release form to complete delivery. It is highly recommended that you inspect the product upon delivery for visible damage. Large item shipments require that shipping damage is reported within 48 HOURS of the product’s delivery. Any damage reported more than 48 HOURS after the product delivery will not be accepted by DirectDeals for replacement or refund. After delivery, please read all included documentation and/or contact the manufacturer directly to determine applicable warranty coverage, if any. If you need to return a product that was shipped via Large Item Delivery, please contact DirectDeals customer service department to obtain instructions on how to return the product.
Television and Monitor Dead Pixels: Televisions or Monitors with 10 dead pixels or more can be returned for a replacement within 30 days from the purchase date.
Point of Sale Products: Some items are non-returnable, including software, custom labels and opened supplies (including without limitation labels, ribbons, receipt paper, receipt ribbons, print heads, card stock, RFID tags).
Out-of-Stock (Back-Order) Items: If DirectDeals no longer carries an item that is sent in for replacement, or if that item is simply out of stock, DirectDeals will issue you a refund. If the item is returned within 30 days of the original invoice date, a full refund will be issued. If the item was returned beyond 30 days of the original invoice date, a store credit refund at the current market value of the product will be issued. A current-market-value refund may not exceed the original invoice price.
Quantity Purchases: While DirectDeals is more than happy to fill your order for a quantity of ten (10) or more of any given item in our inventory on a single purchase order, please understand that an order of that size, once the purchase is completed, is automatically non-refundable. All other specific conditions related to the ordered item still apply, including any and all stipulations relative to any available replacement return policies. ELECTRONIC DELIVERY PRODUCTS
Once a downloadable software product is delivered to your email address, it is not returnable. We understand that installing downloadable software can sometimes have difficulties. In the circumstances where you are unable to get your software installed, we have support technicians on staff that will assist you in getting your software installed. Our full-service support technicians will even connect to your computer remotely to install your software for you if necessary. Your order will be eligible for a refund only in the rare circumstance where our support technician is unable to install your software.
Regarding Microsoft Product Keys: Please be aware that once a product key is added to your Microsoft account it cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged. Once a product key has been registered to a Microsoft account it is forever tethered to that account and cannot be removed - even if you haven't downloaded the software or you made a mistake and ordered a Windows version instead of a Mac version or vice versa. Once you add a product key to your Microsoft account, it is yours forever, and there is no way to un-assign it from your account, therefore it cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.
Additional Conditions: All returns for downloaded software must be pre-authorized by DirectDeals as described below. Your right to obtain a refund for downloaded software lasts only for a limited time. Your request for a Return Merchandise Authorization Number must be made to DirectDeals within 30 days of the date DirectDeals made the software available to you for download (the "Purchase Date"). For eligible downloadable products and subscriptions, we may require you to sign an electronic letter of destruction as a condition of your return to confirm that you have uninstalled and have not made any copies of the product. You will also be required to sign an affidavit confirming that you have not used, registered, verified or activated the product key that was issued. The product key for these products will be verified inactive with the manufacturer and resold. If the product key is activated, your refund will be denied. DirectDeals must receive, at its offices, your fully completed and signed Affidavit of Software Destruction within 30 days of the Purchase Date. No refund will be made until the Affidavit has been received by DirectDeals, or if the time requirements described above are not met. DirectDeals is not responsible for lost or misdirected mail, delays for downloading, or other communication system delays.

Software licensing policies may be subject to other restrictions imposed by each individual software manufacturer. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs to you are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. DirectDeals recommends you use a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Returns for refund may be subject to a restocking fee. Products not purchased directly from DirectDeals must be returned to the place of purchase (Web store, etc.) and are subject to the return policies of the place of purchase.
