  • Parkour - everything is permitted
    In Assassin's Creed Unity, Ubisoft created a parkour system that gives you a wider and more precise range of movement as you dash through and vault over the dense landscape of Paris. Climbing atop the roofs of Paris is the perfect way to survey your environment, but as an assassin, it's just as important to descend quickly and silently to take out your target undetected. Assassin's Creed Unity will offer two modes of navigation that allow you to 'Parkour Up' buildings and obstacles, or 'Parkour Down' for a controlled descent. You can also take dramatic leaps when you 'Parkour Down' to cross a street by leaping from the rooftops to the windowsill of an opposing building. This keeps the action fluid, fast paced and completely uninterrupted.
  • Take control
    The Parkour system doesn't just apply to how you scale buildings. It lets you choose exactly how to approach your targets and navigate the city. For instance, if you're running through an alleyway, you can choose to leap over debris and rush your enemies, or slide underneath obstacles to stay out of sight. No matter where you are or where you're headed, you'll have more options than ever before. In Assassin's Creed Unity, you can truly choose your own path, making Paris the ultimate urban playground.
  • Stealth - disappear anywhere
    Stealth is the most important skill in the assassin's repertoire. There are now limitless opportunities to stalk your enemies, strike them down from the shadows, and disappear into the crowds of Paris. Take a covert approach anytime and anywhere at the press of a button. While sneaking, your actions will be harder to detect. Crouch down to slink through the city, take cover anywhere in the environment to break line of sight, or slip between alleyways to sneak past enemies without a trace. It's easier to make a clean escape when you're poised to disappear at a moment's notice.
  • In plain sight
    You can go incognito anywhere in Paris. There are no limits to the hiding places you can exploit using Assassin's Creed Unity's new Cover system: a barrel outside a tavern, the dresser in a nobleman's bedroom, a column of Notre Dame Cathedral. If you find yourself exposed, the teeming crowds of Paris will also offer you anonymity as you step onto the streets and disappear. Once you break line-of-sight, your pursuers will investigate your last known location, allowing you to fade into the shadows and strike again.   • Combat - the art of the kill
    Reinvented Combat in Assassin's Creed Unity, to be more artful, challenging, and varied than ever before. No two battles are alike, but if you master your technique, they all end the same way - with your opponents at your feet.
  • Easy to learn, hard to master
    There are three core principles of fighting in Assassin's Creed Unity: Attack, Dodge and Parry. How you use these elements in combination takes creativity and quick thinking, and each battle will require you to use them differently. In order to survive, you will need to adapt to the style and strategy of your opponents, particularly when multiple enemies enter the fray. As the most wanted man in Paris, you'll encounter a vast array of foes, each with their own weapons, abilities, and motivations. In group Combat, your enemies' tactics will change, and opponents won't hesitate to attack simultaneously. While you may be able to handily defeat a target alone, you could find the odds against you when he brings in backup.
  • Unite with your friends
    Invite your friends to join your Brotherhood, and for the first time, play seamless 2-4 player co-op in Assassin's Creed Unity. A master assassin knows when to call in re-enforcements, and Assassin's Creed Unity's co-op missions allow you to fight alongside other players in challenging and dynamic scenarios. These co-op missions, which exist alongside the single-player story, have been crafted specifically for assassins to work in tandem as they take down targets throughout the city.
  • Play your part
    To succeed in co-op, you'll have to play to your strengths. The skills and unique gear you acquire in solo missions will be accessible in co-op and define your unique Assassin's style, whether you emphasize brute force, agility or stealth. You will also select one of four unique co-op skills that will help your team survive, evade or kill more effectively. Specialize your Assassin and choose your skill to bring deadly efficiency to your Brotherhood.
  • Stronger together
    In co-op, collaboration is essential. You'll find the odds against you if you work independently, but by coordinating your maneuvers, you can open up new gameplay opportunities, take on tougher challenges and share in greater rewards. If a player has developed a strong Eagle Sense in solo play, they can act as a scout, detecting enemies from afar and sharing the target's location with their teammates. Another Assassin can use their Disguise ability to approach and take down armed sentries undetected. This allows the other Assassins to swoop in for a clean synchronized kill. When their mission is complete, they can make their escape into the massive crowd.
  • Endless possibilities
    An Assassin's work is never done. Assassin's Creed Unity's co-op missions are highly replayable with randomized enemies, alternate paths, and various tactical options that can lead you to challenges, encounters, and rewards. Between co-op missions you can take to the streets with your friends to explore Paris from its steeples to its sewers. Whenever your Brotherhood unites, you are bound to make history together.
